Because of ongoing construction for the extension of George Bush Intercontinental Airport’s automated people mover (above ground train) to Terminal A, travelers to the airport should expect the following roadway changes:

September 5, 2008	11 p.m. to 4 a.m.	There will be one outside lane closure on North Terminal Road in front of the A/B Garage.
September 4, 2008	11 p.m. to 4 a.m.	There will be one outside lane closure on North Terminal Road in front of the A/B Garage.
September 3, 2008	11 p.m. to 4 a.m.	There will be one outside lane closure on North Terminal Road in front of the A/B Garage.
September 2, 2008	11 p.m. to 4 a.m.	There will be one outside lane closure on North Terminal Road in front of the A/B Garage.
August 28, 2008	11 p.m. to 4 a.m.	There will be one outside lane closure on North Terminal Road in front of the A/B Garage.
August 13, 2008	11 p.m. to 5 a.m.	The south lane of North Terminal Road at Terminal A will be closed. This lane will reopen for emergencies.
August 12, 2008	11 p.m. to 5 a.m.	There will be intermittent lane closures from the lay down yard to the work zone in front of Terminal A for crane moving. Once crane is in place the south lane in front of Terminal Road will be closed until 5am.There will be officers on site.
August 7, 2008	4 p.m. to 6 p.m.	There will be a lane closure on the South lane of Terminal Road from the manager's parking lot to the west end of Terminal A. (If needed)
June 26, 2008 until further notice	All times	There will be two lanes of traffic open around Terminal A - one lane is closest to the terminal, opened for through traffic only; the second land is the tug road. This roadway configuration will remain in place until further notice. Passenger pickup on the north side has been moved to the south of the terminal, signage and barricades are in place to preclude pedestrian traffic from exiting through the north side.
Ongoing	All Times	Height restrictions on North Terminal Road, near the north side of Terminal A, have been reduced to 13 feet and 6 inches because of construction. Vehicles taller than 13 feet and 6 inches should contact 281.230.3100 to be escorted through the airport.
