Houston forecast in November? Thanks to Latin GRAMMY’s - Muy caliente!

It’s somewhat unusual to be able to pinpoint the arrival of a Houston heat wave right down to the hour, especially when that projection comes in the month of November. But a three hour heat wave is exactly what Houstonians can expect to see and feel starting on November 13, 2008 at 7 p.m., thanks to the arrival of the 9th Annual Latin GRAMMY Awards.

A WWII B-17 Bomber only has two weeks to live in Houston, unless you help save it
The B-17G Flying Fortress named Texas Raiders is a member of the Commemorative Air Force (CAF) and is in danger of being dismantled due to the fact that the owner of the hangar has opted to terminate the lease effective November 30, 2008.

Multi-cultural sounds were definitely easier to hear in mid-November when the Latin GRAMMY Awards Ceremony came to Houston for the very first time. Mariachi groups were invited to IAH's bustling Terminal E to help celebrate the occasion

Continental looking to connect Houston and Rio de Janeiro with daily service
Continental has filed an application with the Department of Transportation asking to operate daily, year-round service between Rio and its Houston hub at Bush Intercontinental Airport.
